Our Teachers
Michelle R. Wanek - Born an empath, I have experienced paranormal activity my entire life. That natural curiosity — combined with a love for science and an overtly logical mindset — is what launched my research into the supernatural world. Through years of trial and error, I’ve been able to uncover far more about paranormal phenomena and life after death than I ever imagined possible. I hold a Bachelor of Science in JLA with a concentration in Criminology, which strengthens my evidence‑based approach to investigation. In addition, I am a professional photographer with over 30 years of management, teaching, and technical experience.
Michelle has been a featured speaker at many events.
Sergio Liguori - Sergio brings a grounded, technical skill set to every investigation. With a strong background as a senior technician, he specializes in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and ensuring our gear performs accurately in the field. His experience as both a wildland firefighter and volunteer firefighter has shaped his ability to stay calm, focused, and highly aware in unpredictable environments. Today, he applies that same discipline and practical expertise to his work as a senior technician and to his role within CT Ghost Hunting School. Sergio’s steady presence, technical proficiency, and real‑world emergency experience make him an essential part of our investigative team.
FEATURED INVESTIGATIONS
Bobby Mackey’s Music World (Union, KY)
A brief 2010 visit and short walk outside captured two EVPs.
Waverly Hills Sanatorium (Louisville, KY)
I investigated Waverly Hills Sanatorium in 2010 with the original Ghost Adventures crew and several other well-known paranormal investigators. There I captured my first orb on camera, a moment that felt both thrilling and surreal. It was an amazing experience working alongside everyone and exploring that eerie, historic place.
(Undisclosed Location, Litchfield County CT)
We visited this very active, state-owned site in 2020 and recorded colored orbs, anomalies, equipment failures, and a face in the window. Entry requires special permission, so I can't give the exact location.
